Mission briefing
That green goo in your cargohold was far more dangerous than we first realized. Some nanites – perhaps even the very ones from your cargohold – somehow made their way onto a battleship called Solar Cinder, which blasted out of its hangar just a few minutes ago. We don't know what to call this thing now, but it is sentient, and shows many similarities to the Delainen-ROM symbiote. But this is a battleship. An uncontrolled battleship with human-patterned AI ... and capable of self-replication!
We need you to get out there and destroy it! The military is on the way, but they will not be here in force before it has time to escape, if that's what it intends.
This won't be easy. That ship was heavily armed, and the symbiote's drone technology is very advanced. Furthermore, we believe that it can actually "heal" itself. You just might want to get some assistance on this one.
